Terms of Service

These Terms apply to your use of Bowling-Tournaments.com and related services.

Last Updated: May 9, 2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, apps, and related services offered by Bowling-Tournaments.com (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may reference product features that evolve over time; where these Terms describe functionality, they refer to the Service as offered at the time of use unless we notify you otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority where you live, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and that you are not barred from using the Service under applicable law.

3. Description of the service

The Service helps bowlers discover tournaments and helps authorized tournament directors publish and manage tournament-related information (for example, schedules, standings, brackets, side pots, and related materials). Features may include account registration, profiles, bookmarks, notifications, search and location-assisted discovery, and tools that rely on user-entered data.

Bowling-Tournaments.com does not organize, sanction, insure, or operate physical bowling events unless we expressly say otherwise in writing for a specific offering. Event organizers, centers, and sanctioning bodies remain responsible for their events.

4. Beta services

Bowling-Tournaments.com may currently be offered as a beta product or include beta features. During any beta period, the Service may be incomplete or experimental; features, functionality, and availability may change without notice; and the Service may contain errors or downtime. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service or preservation of data during beta. You use beta offerings at your own risk and should maintain backups of information that matters to you where practical.

5. Accounts and security

You may need an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@bowling-tournaments.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may authenticate using methods we support (for example, email and password or federated sign-in through providers such as Google). Your use of those providers may also be subject to their terms.

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@bowling-tournaments.com. We will process verified requests consistent with applicable law and our technical and operational capabilities. Certain records may be retained where required for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes (for example, fraud prevention or dispute resolution), as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Harass, threaten, defraud, or harm others; post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory content; or impersonate any person or entity.
  • Manipulate scores, standings, brackets, or other competition records in a deceptive or fraudulent manner.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers; or circumvent security or access controls.
  • Use automated means (including bots or scrapers) to access the Service in a way that overloads our systems or violates our technical policies, except as allowed by public search engines as configured by us or by express written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where prohibited by law.
  • Misuse support or reporting channels.

7. User content

You may submit or upload User Content through the Service. User Content includes, without limitation: profile information; uploaded media (such as profile photos); tournament listings and related descriptive materials; scores; brackets; standings; bookmarks; follows; and community or social interactions visible through the Service (such as comments or follows). User Content may also include notes, images, text, and related materials you provide in connection with tournaments or your account. You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license below.

You grant Bowling-Tournaments.com a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use User Content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and promote the Service (including formatting, storing, backing up, moderating, and showing content to other users). This license lasts until you delete User Content or close your account, except where we must retain copies for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate backups that roll off on a reasonable cycle.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to grant the license above.
  • Your User Content complies with these Terms and does not infringe third-party rights.

You understand that tournaments and associated pages may be publicly visible depending on product settings and how information is shared by directors and participants.

8. Moderation

We may—but are not obligated to—monitor, review, filter, or remove User Content. For example, certain uploads (such as profile photos) may be processed automatically before they appear publicly.

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or restrict features if we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, risk to users or the Service, or as required by law.

9. Reserved rights

Bowling-Tournaments.com reserves the right to refuse service to anyone; remove or restrict User Content; reclaim usernames or identifiers where reasonably necessary; suspend or terminate accounts; or limit or disable features of the Service when we reasonably determine such action is appropriate for legal compliance, safety, security, moderation, fraud prevention, operational stability, or enforcement of these Terms or our policies.

10. Tournament directors

Director tools may be offered subject to eligibility, verification, or approval processes we establish. If you act as a tournament director through the Service, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of tournament listings, communications with bowlers, and compliance with laws and agreements that apply to your events (including registration rules, prizes, venue policies, and accessibility requirements where applicable).

You acknowledge that Bowling-Tournaments.com is a software platform and that you—not Bowling-Tournaments.com—are responsible for how you run or advertise events in the real world, except as expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement between you and us.

11. No guarantee of tournament legitimacy

Bowling-Tournaments.com does not independently verify every tournament, organizer, payout structure, prize, venue, or listing on the Service. Listings and related information are provided by users and third parties. We are not responsible for disputes between you and tournament organizers, venues, sponsors, or other participants, including disputes over fees, prizes, refunds, conduct, or event cancellation.

12. Scores, standings, and results

Scores, standings, brackets, side pots, payouts (where displayed), and tournament results shown on the Service are provided for informational purposes only. They depend on user or director entry, timing, connectivity, configuration, and automated processing, and may contain human or technical errors. Information may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Unless we expressly designate specific results as official for a particular sanctioned event, nothing on the Service constitutes an official certification of results by Bowling-Tournaments.com.

13. Fees and third-party payments

We do not currently charge end-user fees for basic access to the core Service as described on our website; we may introduce fees or paid features in the future. If we do, we will provide notice as required by law and, where applicable, obtain your agreement before charging you.

Tournament listings may include links to external registration or payment pages offered by directors or third parties. Those transactions are between you and the third party; Bowling-Tournaments.com does not process those payments unless we clearly identify a separate checkout provided by us. Review third-party terms and privacy practices before paying or sharing payment information off-site.

14. Intellectual property

The Service (including software, design, branding, and original content we provide) is owned by Bowling-Tournaments.com and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service.

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at support@bowling-tournaments.com with enough detail for us to evaluate your notice.

15. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or reference third-party products and services (for example, hosting and authentication providers, mapping or geocoding APIs, abuse-prevention or bot-protection tools, analytics, and social links). Your use of those services may be subject to the third party’s terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

16. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

The Service does not provide legal, financial, medical, or safety advice. You are responsible for decisions related to travel, competition, and participation in events.

17. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOWLING-TOURNAMENTS.COM AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (IF ANY), OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

18. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bowling-Tournaments.com and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, your events or director activities, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

19. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account deletion as described in Section 5 (Accounts and security). We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or delete or disable accounts or content, if we reasonably believe it is necessary for legal, security, or policy reasons, or if you materially breach these Terms.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including licenses granted to us as needed to retain server copies for a limited period, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions) will survive.

20. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where practical (for example, by email or an in-product notice). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, excluding conflict-of-law principles that would require applying another jurisdiction’s laws. You agree that federal and state courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, subject to applicable law providing otherwise for consumers in your jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, mandatory protections in your jurisdiction may apply where required by law.
